Every MTAQ member will: 

- CODE OF ETHICS

    MTA Queensland Members’ General Commitments:
     
    Ø Treat customers fairly and honestly
    Ø Conduct all business dealings with customers and fellow MTA-Q Members in a professional and ethical manner
    Ø Make full and frank disclosure of written statements and terms to customers in legible plain English
    Ø Present products for sale in a clean and customer friendly environment of a high standard
    Ø Provide a firm quote or best estimate for products and services requested. If estimate is provided, follow-up with firm quote once costs are quantified and gain approval to proceed
    Ø Contact customers in advance for any additional needed or recommended products or services
    Ø Establish in advance payment preference via convenient and efficient choices for products or services to be invoiced
    Ø  Have an effective disputes handling process in the event of a customer complaint involving products or services provided
    MTA-Q Members’ Statutory Commitments:
    Ø Abide by Government Regulations in respect to Statutory Laws and Warranties and guaranteed clear title for any vehicle offered for sale
    Ø Abide by Australian Standards in respect to parts supplied and workmanship quality
    Ø Abide by Industry Codes of Practice
    Ø Abide by new Advertising “Clarity in Pricing” Act 2008 Regulations
