Over the years, the MTA-Q has staged many industry-based shows which have proved extremely popular with Queenslanders as well as organising and hosting an increasing number of national trade industry conferences such as Engine Reconditioners, Motor Body Repairers and Tyre Dealers. 

MTAQ’s commercial arm facilitates the organisation and management of a number of events in its own right.  Top of the list is the Brisbane International Motor Show, now firmly established as Australia’s most popular event of its kind on a per capita basis.
