
The Association will represent member businesses in the event of consumer complaints. It will prepare defences in Small Claims Tribunal cases and will act on complaints from the Office of Fair Trading.
Advice and assistance to members in industrial relations cases is one of the Association’s busiest areas of activity and it has an outstanding record of success both in Commission hearings and in pre-hearing settlements.
The IR Department also has an enviable record in its service to members with information on wage movements, Federal and State Award conditions, leave entitlements and
Workcover, to mention a few.
