Course Title: (Gap training for) AUR20705 Certificate II, Automotive Mechanical Air Conditioning
Course Summary: This course includes installing, retrofitting, servicing and repairing of airconditioning units on various types of vehicles such as cars, trucks and vans.
Course Objective: On successful completion of this course applicants can apply to Australian Refrigeration Council Ltd (ARC) for an Automotive Air Conditioning handling license which allows them to work with air conditioning systemsfitted to motor vehicles.
This two-day course is aimed at filling in the gaps for Qualified Tradespeople or 4th year apprentices working in the automotive industry wanting to be accredited in the above mentioned qualification. On enrolment, applicants must supply evidence(certificates) that they have completed an automotive apprenticeship or are 4th apprentice in the automotive field. The evidence you supply will enable you to directly transfer the applicable completed units to the new A/C qualification.
