Why deal with a member

All consumers are entitled to a fair deal, whether purchasing a product or a service. That's the principle that motivates every member of the MTA-Q's 13 industry divisions, including new and used vehicle dealers, repairers and service providers.

No-one can become a member of the MTA-Q unless he/she agrees in writing to be bound by the Association's 14-point Code of Ethics which requires them to act honestly and fairly in all dealings with the public and conduct all business with strict professional courtesy and integrity.

In addition, there are clear procedures for the resolution of any disputes which might occur between a member and a consumer.
