2008 Trades and Skills Teacher of the year Awards 

 

MTA Training is pleased to announce the MTA Training Automotive Careers Day for high school students  interested in the automotive industry. The Careers Day will be held at the Brisbane International Motor Show (BIMS) on the 5th February 2008 between 10.00am and 2.00pm. Registration is essential so please contact us ASAP to register as positions are filling quickly.  Registration is only possible through the schools guidance councilor or careers advisor and only applies to students in years 10, 11 and 12.

Activities will include free of charge to the student:

• Information seminars by guest speaker on the automotive industry, apprenticeships/traineeship, potential career opportunities and career paths in the industry. 
• Admission into the Brisbane International Motor Show to admire the latest and greatest technology in motor vehicles and motor cycles. 
• An interactive activity designed to stimulate the mind and test hand eye co-ordination. 
• The presentation of the Motor Cycle Apprentice of the year awards thanks to the Ulysses Club and Super Cheap Auto's.
• An information show bag will also be provided at the end of the day with some goodies included to remember the show with.
