Australian Automotive Dealer Association (AADA)

The Australian Automotive Dealer Association (AADA) represents the Queensland new car retailing industry. The industry consists of dealership that sell new cars, utilities and SUVs to companies, the government and the public.
The Agenda topics include:
  • robust discussions around the priorities of the Division,
  • issues that need to be directly presented to government and submissions,
  • skilling needs,
  • membership representation,
  • technical and educational updates, and
  • innovation opportunities
The committee meetings can be attended in-person at MTA Queensland or online.
The meetings are open to members and non-members, but we strongly encourage membership to ensure all member benefits are available.

WE URGE ALL DEALERS TO WRITE TO AND OR VISIT THEIR LOCAL MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT TO DISCUSS THEIR ISSUES.

The AADA has developed materials to help you connect with your local Member of Parliament and/or Senator.
This includes:
  • a sample letter (Word document) that you can personalise and use to tell your local MP about your concerns over the removal of Point of Sale exemption
  • an infographic showcasing some key facts from our research to include with your letter and or to take to a meeting;
  • a link to the AADA DealerNomics website where you can search your electorate and download a PDF of the economic contribution that new car Dealers make for inclusion in the letter and or to take to a meeting; and
  • a document with tips on organising a meeting and contact details for MPs and Senators.
