The MTAQ Racing Team Driver
Widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and popular drivers in local Motorsport, David has a long list of achievements from his 13 years in competition. Since winning the Queensland Gemini Series "rookie of the year" title in his debut season on 1997, David has gone onto win three Queensland Championships, and has been very close in three more.
David has also chalked up an array of excellent results at National level - particularly, in endurance racing for Team Subaru Australia as a factory supported driver where he was pitted against many of the country's top drivers - including current V8 Super-car champions and Bathurst winners, coupled with a portfolio of successful sponsorship campaigns including brands such as Subaru Australia, BP/Castrol, Loreal Men Expert, Redken for Men, Grove fruit juice and others.
Away from the track, David is equally as successful in business and has won several business awards to add to his racing trophy cabinet, giving David a unique blend of on-track speed and off-track business nous. David has also completed tertiary studies in Marketing, Sports Marketing and Public Relations.
David will lead the MTA Queensland Racing Team team into the 2018 Hyundai X3 Series Cup in Queensland, after a very eventful and successful 2017.
