The 'Back to Work' regional jobs package now available for employers
Published 2 March 2017
The Queensland government's 'Back to work' package includes payments of $10 000 for employers who hire an unemployed worker, rising to $15 000 for the long-term unemployed.
In addition, the $20,000 "Youth Boost" is now available for regional Queensland businesses as an incentive to hire local unemployed young people. This is a great incentive for employers to hire high school leavers or unemployed people aged 15-24.
The regional jobs package opens Dec 1 and closes 31 Oct 2017.
