Applications now open for the Small Business Digital Grants Program
On Wednesday 27th September, the Queensland Government opened applications for the third round of the Small Business Digital Grants, which provides up to $10,000 in matched funding to operators willing to embrace new technology.
Dr Brett Dale, Group CEO for The Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) said, "We are advocates for members to embrace innovative new technologies and encourage them to make the most of online business opportunities by applying for the Small Business Digital Grants Program."
The Honourable Leeanne Enoch, Small Business Minister, said 403 small businesses throughout the state have already benefited from the program during round one and two.
“Digital capability is essential for success in today’s online world, and the response to these grants highlights how the state’s small business owners agree,” Ms Enoch said.
“The Program is assisting small businesses to access the latest digital technologies to increase their productivity and competitiveness, which will lead to business growth and more jobs for Queenslanders.
“Small business owners and operators are using our grants to access digital technologies and services to enable them to work smarter, engage with the global economy and make the most of online business opportunities," said Minister Enoch.
To be eligible for the Program, small business owners must prove that digital technology or services have been purchased and utilised to enhance the digital capabilities of their business.
