President's Ball raises thousands for Charity Partner Youngcare
On Saturday the 28th of October, the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) hosted the signature event for Queensland's automotive industry, the 2017 President's Ball.
Although the night was filled with highlights, a stand out moment of the evening was the auction, hosted by the extraordinarily entertaining Shane Jacobson and featuring three items generously donated with the intention to raise money for Youngcare, MTA Queensland's official charity partner.
The Australian Automotive Dealer Association (AADA) donated a Penfolds Bin 95 Grange Shiraz 2007 1.5L, which was sold to Car Craft.
Suncorp, a platinum sponsor of the President's Ball donated a 2017 State of Origin Queensland Maroons Jersey, framed and signed by Kevin Walters which was sold to Jeeepart Recyclers.
And finally, a framed serenity photo was donated by I've Been Framed (IBF) sold to Apprenticeships Queensland.
MTA Queensland thanks the buyers and everyone who participated in the auction; we are thrilled to have raised a total of $3000 for Youngcare - a not-for-profit organisation spearheading powerful and positive change to create a future where every young person with high care needs has the freedom, choice and dignity to live the lives we all deserve.
